Shit Box, Portable Toilet
It’s a lightweight cardboard box that uses reusable bags. It’s foldable, incredibly sturdy, and, even though it’s a take away toilet, it’s actually very cute

"Although it’s only recently been available on the market, the idea behind Shit Box was born 20 years ago. Its inventor, Richard Wharton, who went on to found The Brown Corporation, was in his tent at the Glastonbury Festival. He urgently needed to use the toilet, but he immediately wrote off the idea of using the festival’s public toilets due to the terrible condition they were in. Then he noticed a box of Kleenex sitting in his tent and he thought that if only that box were a bit bigger and sturdier, he could put a plastic bag inside and he’d have his own private toilet inside the tent. From that point on, it’s taken 50 prototypes to hit on the perfect portable WC (the one you see in the photo).

It is a very lightweight, transportable WC made of super-sturdy cardboard and it’s specially designed for outdoor use (for picnics, festivals, camping trips). The box folds away, which makes it easy to transport, and each box comes with 10 plastic "poo bags".

While it’s surprising enough that someone’s actually invented a box that substitutes for the WC, what’s really amazing is that anyone would work so hard on its design. It’s so pretty you won’t want to ruin it. It’s even got a mascot! His name’s Little Jack, and if no one told you who he was or what he did, he could easily pass for a dainty little smiley character."
